The diameter of a helical insert will be larger than the tapped hole (before install)
Once properly installed the insert diameter reduces, allowing the helical insert to thread the hole and stay firmly in place as the radial pressure of the spring releases

EZ Coil Inserts, also known as Helical Coil Inserts, Wire Threaded Inserts, or Helicoil Inserts, are made to quickly repair or reinforce tapped holes in soft metals. Stainless Steel Helical Threaded Inserts are ideal for applications requiring additional corrosion resistance, as well as automotive, food, beverage, and other clean-critical applications.

Returns
Returns are accepted for 30 days for Domestic orders and 14 days for International orders from purchase date by contacting us for a RMA number. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance costs. Returned open packages will be subject to partial refunds.
